About Villa Daphne
Villa Daphne is situated just a five minute walk from Chorafakia village in Western Crete. Chania airport is a 10 minute drive and the villa itself is along a country road leading to the village, surrounded by views of mountains either side and bordering an olive grove and moorland landscape.
The villa comprises one double en-suite and one twin en-suite with an extra bed available, sleeping 4–5. Open plan lounge/diner/kitchen/hallway, front and back patios. Swimming pool (with toddlers' area) and a shared 4,000m² garden with olives, oleanders, shrubs and herbs. Ample parking. Air conditioning in both bedrooms. Fully equipped: washing machine, oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, TV, DVD, music stereo, books, games and toys for little ones. All linen and towels provided (incl. beach towels), hairdryers in each bedroom, BBQ by the pool, Wi-Fi. An English-speaking local representative is available to help guests.

Chorafakia village has 2 supermarkets, a pharmacy, hairdressers and cafés within walking distance. Kounoupidiana has larger supermarkets, a chemist, a vet, banks and cash points. Chania town offers full shopping, harbour-side gift shops, a Saturday market and a daily indoor produce market.
Car hire
Chorafakia Car Rental, run by Stelios and Lena in the village. New, air-conditioned, fully insured cars at reasonable rates.
Day trips
Knossos, the White Mountains, the Samaria Gorge and Spinalonga are all within 2–3 hours' drive.
